Lessons from Leviticus

1.  Through the five offerings we learn about the cost of sin, that a life must be given for a life (17:11; MATT 26:28; 1 PETER 1:19).

2.  Through the seven feasts we learn about the importance of family worship, celebration, thanksgiving, reverence and rededication to our God and Father (23; EPH 6:4).

3.  We are to be holy because our God and father is holy (11:44-45; 19:2; 20:7, 26;
2 COR 7:1; 1 PETER 1:15-16; HEB 12:14).

4.  God wants a people, a people who will conform themselves to the image of His dear Son (ROM 8:29).

5.  God’s gift of the Holy Spirit sanctifies His children (ACTS 2:38; 5:32; ROM 8:9;
1 COR 6:19; 2 COR 1:21-22; 5:5; EPH 1:13-14; 3:16, 20; 1 THESS 4:1-8; 1 JOHN 3:24).

Conclusion:  Read Leviticus and rededicate yourself to holiness, worshiping God in private confession, public service and group celebration!
