The Author of Job

1.  The author of Job is unknown and there are no textual hints as to his identity.  

2.  In Ezekiel 14:14, 20 the Lord Jehovah said that Job was a man, as Noah and Daniel, possessing a soul (see also James 5:11).

3.  Lamentations 4:21 locates Uz in the area of Edom, southeast of the Dead Sea, in the region of northern Arabia (The Open Bible, p. 718).
